    Gandy Bridge
    The Gandy Bridge originally opened on November 20, 1924, connecting St. Petersburg to Tampa and the Cross-Town Expressway. The bridge decreased the distance between the cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa by 50 miles.

    Sunshine Skyway Bridge
    Spanning 5.5 miles (9km), the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is the world's largest cable-stayed concrete bridge. Part of I-275 and US 19, the bridge connects St. Petersburg to Palmetto, Florida, passing directly over the Tampa Bay.
